In a nutshell, the tinyMuw project is geared towards creating an open-source Content Management System in the vein of such successful CMS' as RedCMS and others.

This project evolved first from seeing the low number of plug-and-play type of content management systems that allow for a wide array of user customizations.

It then came from the desire and curiosity of myself, mostly just out of "What would happen if.." type scenarios. That's also how a majority of the new code gets invented and the old code evolves.

I also had a big void where in-depth knowledge of PHP and MySQL should be. I knew the essentials, but didn't know the details. With this project I hope to change that. I can say that as of the time of this writing that has somewhat become true.

As the code develops and evolves into an almost living creature (pardon my waxing poetic), I find myself delving deeper into the inner workings of the PHP, MySQL and Apache projects themselves. Thus one day my contributions will likely go from "It would be nice if..." to "I like it this way, here's the code...".

This is also something I most certainly expect to be showcasing to potential employers.
